Classroom Reveal!

Hi all!! I've been MIA for a week now, and with good reason. I was finally let into my room last Monday and have spent 10 hours in that place everyday since. All boxes are unpacked, the room is decorated and today I just put the finishing touches on the desks. Here are some shots(from my phone because I forgot my camera!) of my classroom. I'm super excited to link up with Courtney at Swimming into Second. Enjoy! I have to thank pinterest and Jennifer Findley for all of the inspiration. Everything came together beautifully! Pictures are tagged with links to stores or pages where I found materials. Some are my own creation, but I haven't uploaded them anywhere yet. 

I'm super excited to meet the kiddos this year!! I could seriously live in this classroom. =)

So Excited!

I finally get to see my new room tomorrow! I am losing what little patience I have! Since I've been sitting around while other teachers in my district have been working in their classrooms, I decided to get all of my decorations prepped. I never do this stuff ahead of time, and thanks to Pinterest and TpT, I have had a blast! I'm so excited about my technology theme. I couldn't have done it without Jennifer Findley's bundle on TpT. She gave me so many ideas, and then I just took it from there. Here are a few pics of what's to come for my classroom.

This is just a small sample of what I've created for my new classroom. I am so ready to move my stuff in and see the end result. Tomorrow is going to ROCK!  Good luck to anyone else returning tomorrow!

Sneak a Peek at my TpT purchases!

So, I shopped til I dropped this weekend at TpT. I cleared about 20 items off my wishlist, and I got everything at a great price. I CANNOT WAIT TO GET BACK TO SCHOOL! Of course, my family will have to go without some essentials (groceries, maybe?) since I found so many great things. =) Here's a peek at some of the awesomeness I consumed. I got way too many things to list, so I'll just provide a few. I'm sure more will be in my future posts. Everything was so super cool!

First, I had to get my theme laid out for the new classroom (which I still can't get into) I LOVED the bundle I got from Jennifer. I loved it so much I got the same clip art as well, so I could make some additional things for my room. Pictures coming soon!

Next up,  was from Math and Science with TLC. I can't wait to use these in my room. These resources are helping to ease my anxiety about teaching math solo this year. I was feeling doomed without my partner, Lauren. She was the best. 

 

I snagged quite a bit from Jennifer. She is probably one of my favorite sellers. Here are a few things I grabbed. Of course, mostly math related. Her stuff is REALLY good. 

 I got my hands on a nice set of math centers, too. I think it will be a perfect addition to my workstations!

My last peek is at a first week math activity that I snagged from the ever-so-popular Runde's Room. I'm very excited to try this when the kiddos come in!.
